This is going to be a sort of new story idea where I will have the 30 days pre-season in order to make a title winning team in the first season.

BREAKING NEWS coming from Saint Mary's where we join Jim white to bring us up to date with the latest. What is going on Jim?

"Well it's been a summer or selling for Southampton and another member of the club is set to leave but this time it's the manager Ronald Koeman. Doubts about his relationship with the Chairman were being strained and within the last few moments, Southampton released this."

At this point, the reason for the termination of his contract isn't 100% clear. However we do believe it had something to do with the recent sales that have gone on at the club. Koeman himself has also taken to twitter and has had this to say:"

With just a month left until the season, Saints fans sit in wait as to see who will be the new leader of the club, I will bring any more news as it happens".

Thanks Jim, we can confirm here that Southampton have appointed a new manager and will be hosting a press conference shortly. More as it happens.

something different..
but will you proceed with the season?

maybe just take a year's vacation to see if that was indeed a title winning team?

;)

That would be interesting, build the team and take a vacation! :D

Hopefully it's shorter than an hour :)

Ralph Krueger walks in:

RK: Hello all and welcome to the latest Southampton FC Press conference where today we will be unveiling our new manager. Although many may not know his name, we believe that he is the man to take us forward.

Kick TV: Yes. Mr. Krueger, any news about why previous manager Ronald Koeman left on such short notice?

RK: Koeman left the club due to a disagreement about the following players. Nathaniel Clyne, Morgan Schneiderlin and Victor Wanyama.

Kick TV: Any news on their futures?

RK: We can’t confirm anything of yet. Without further ado I would like to announce the new Club manager is

Simon Moore.

…………………………………………………………………………………....

RK: Any questions?

Sky Sports: How do you feel to be taking over such a huge project that is Southampton?

SM: It feels great. It is such a defining moment in my life and I can’t wait.

The Sun: Mr. Krueger, any information on how much budget this new manager will get.

RK: Let’s just focus on the Simon, won’t we?

Daily Mirror: What are your plans for the season?

SM: Although this may shock many, I am aiming for the league title.

The Sun: Mr. Moore…..

Barclays Premier League Season Preview: Southampton FC:
View attachment 245021

Next we take a look at the summer’s biggest spenders and biggest money makers. Since new manager Simon Moore took over at the club, they have 66 Million from sales while also spending a whopping 82 Million. We take at the line-up we predict they will start next season with.

Jamie Redknapp: “Simon Moore has come in and been very ambitious. He has set a huge standard for the players to meet but he has really brought in some real firepower. For me however, he has made so many different signings, I am not 100% whether they will gel or not. I predict a 7th place finish.”

Jamie Carragher: “Going forward Southampton are now one of the best attacks in the league but defensively they look weak. A poor defence that leak in goals will not help towards a title push but they will look to Juan Jesus to control his team mates alongside him but still I believe a title is just too much. 9th place finish for me
.

Pre-season is over and the team is out so let us begin. Any Prediction anyone?

Doing a Lyon save Lacazette is a beast have and Fekir lots quality as well

Lopes is also a great Gk keeps a lots of clean sheets but prone to the occasional howler

August:

Simon Moore’s POV:

Well for my first month in management I can see why they say that football takes its toll on your life. After just one month I have been filled with joy, relief, despair and stress. Overall we had a pretty good month. 2 Wins and only 1 loss is nice. The attack proved themselves with 8 goals in 3 but we also conceded 6 in 3 :/.

Game day 1: Newcastle 3-4 Southampton:

Day light robbery. On a day where it looked like Ayoze Perez could have done whatever he wanted and still the ball in the back of the net, we fought back twice before new man Bernard smashed home a winner in injury time. COME ON!.

Game day 2: Chelsea 0-2 Southampton

After narrowly avoiding defeat against Newcastle, I was expecting an absolute whitewash from Chelsea but the boys stood solid defensively and we look hugely impressive breaking forward. Superb Game.

Game day 3: Everton 3-2 Southampton.

**** you Lukaku. The Belgium built like a gym had to ruin my perfect first month in management. Still an impressive performance and a lot of positives from that game. Let the revolution continue!

Overall a good first month which although early on, keeps us up there with the early front runners and title favourites. Well, except Manchester United who sit pretty in 12th.

I believe its quite difficult to win the tittle in the first season but I will definitely following your efforts ! Best of luck my friend !!!
