Hey Guys and welcome to my new Football Manager 2015 story on the FM Base website!
So I have some bad news guys, the other day I did start a NYCFC story and was really excited to see how we could do with them and create history but as I was proceeding in the game I encountered a crash dump, so not thinking much of it I attempted to reload the save and it just wouldn't work. After numerous attempts at this I gave up and unfortunately I do not have the motivation to restart a NYCFC career therefore we will be beginning a brand new one.
Anyway, let's get into talking about the save.
I took a day off from FM to have a think of who to be and after a couple of hours I realised one thing. I had not attempted a save with my favorite English club.. Tottenham Hotspur. Granted, I have had a look at the squad in the past but I have not had a single game as Tottenham Hotspur manager. Therefore this save should be fun because I do have a personal connection with the team and I am so excited to see how we can do with my team!
As I stated above, I have not had a save with Tottenham on this years FM, therefore this should be really fun to play as them, develop the younger players and hopefully bring them some silverware.

So most of you from the footballing world will have heard of Tottenham. They are a squad that has a lot of history and has they have a lot of silverware to their name. One thing that even I didn't know was that they have actually won the Barclays Premier League TWICE which is awesome but they haven't won it since the Premier League was reformed as the Premier League back in 1994. Since 1994 they have been fairly inconsistent with their highest finish being 4th on two separate occasions in the 2009/2010 season and in the 2011/2012 season. They have also won the Europa League twice, the first time in 1972 and the second in 1984 so we do have a lot of history and hopefully we can start winning silverware of our own.

The team currently plays it's games at White Hart Lane which is located in Bill Nicholson Way, 748 High Road, Tottenham. It isn't the largest stadium in the world holding just over 36,000 but for now it will do.

I was fiddling with the idea of going with a Tottenham legend or icon or someone along those lines as my character but decided that being me would be best but maybe in a future story I can do something like xJamieWilliamsx where he is using Jamie Carragher (P.S Awesome Story Man!). I am Welsh because that's where I am born but my mum is English so that's why I chose England as my secondary nationality, although I was going to go with Hungary because the rest of my mums family (My Grandma ect.) are Hungarian but England seemed more useful. I also chose Spanish, Italian and French as additional languages for two reasons. The first being because I can speak a little Spanish and a little French although I don't speak a word of Italian. The second reason being that most of the best players in the world come from these countries so it would help a little bit with them settling if I can speak their language.

I'm not gonna go into detail about each and every player but above is a screenshot of out players and I will now quickly speak about our three key players.

Christian Eriksen is a very good player. I will be looking to use him as an attacking midfielder and at the young age of 22, he has one **** of a future at the club. I mean look, he has 44 Danish caps already!!

What a keeper. Still got many years left in him and can't wait to see how he does over the next few years with us!!

The true definition of 'Wonderkid'. He has so much potential it's unreal and his stats are already amazing for a 20 year old. Will never be letting this kid go.. Will be with us until he retires haha.
Anyway guys, that's it for the first update. The next update will be the first game of the season and from there onwards it will be monthly updates. Hope you enjoyed this little introduction and are as excited as I am for this new story/career.
