Toni Kroos - slight issue

Hi,

I have had an amount accepted for Toni Kroos, when speaking to his agent they want the contract to be completely created by myself, however I tried a few times (without going over the top) however they always said the offer was miles apart.

Ater a couple of attempts they now say about not wanting to restart discussions, is there any way to fix this?

check your scout report and see the amount of wages he would and then enter them

offer him the max wage you can offer to a key player

I normally look at where he will fit into my squad (back up, rotation, 1st team) and give him on par (wages, bonuses, ect) with where I see him fitting in. 9/10 it works, and if not, well, I'm not paying more than I need to as I'm pretty sure I can find the as decent a player for equal or less.

When you purchase any player, you have to ask yourself 2 questions..

1. How much am I willing to pay for a transfer fee?
2. How much am I willing to pay in wages for this player?

Question 1 is answered for you already. Figure out the answer to question 2. Next time you are able to offer him a contract, offer him the maximum wages you are willing to offer. If he doesn't accept, then move on to another player. In the meantime, talk to the press about the player.
