Too many players who want playing time

I'm Barca and I have 23 players: 11 starters, 6 wonderkids, and 6 backups. The wonderkids need playing time, but the backups morale is being affected by their lack of playing time.

Should I ignore the complaints of the backups and just play my wonderkids, rotate more, or do a mix of backups and wonderkids?

If your wonderkids are still not close to their potential you could probably send them out on loan to a club where they would get some regular first team experience. I wouldn't play them too much if they're still young (under 20). You could also loan out backups you don't need but with Barca there should be enough between the CL and domestic competitions to effectively rotate all your players.

I play all players but mix and match in every game it helps when it comes to the end of the season. Plus it helps the wonderkids get better.

Do you ask your starters if they want a game off or do you just bench them?

Just bench them, they usually take a while to complain.
