At the end of each season ur merchandising manager comes to you with who sold the most shirts.

I had this after my first season with Swansea but when I managed Bournemouth I never used to get it even though I got to prem.

Does anyone know how you can get it for lower league clubs or does it activate after a while if ur reputation goes up or sell enough shirts?

If anyone knows anything on this please let me know

I only first noticed it in someone's story. I know it's not important to the game it's just a nice little added thing. Nice to know who the fans like.
 
i only started getting them after a few seasons.
 
I was southampton, i didn't win any trophies until my 4th season, but i was in the top 3 consistently, so maybe ?
 
I'm Southampton, and since the 3rd season, I've been getting that report at the start of the season. I suppose you start getting them after some seasons in, and when you're generating good revenue.
 
I got 1 first season with my Ajax story. Maybe it's linked to high revenue?
 
that's a cool feature imo. I always wondered. Now if we could see other clubs top sellers
 
I do like the feature. However, I would prefer to be able to see such information throughout the year. To be able to track your top merchandise sellers in finances, even on a monthly basis, would be great. Then you could truly see if a foreign player boosted your sales, by viewing how many sales that month etc.
 
Im 5 seasons in with Dundee United and im yet to have one but got one each season with Arsenal, like it as an added touch
 
I just got it in my 3rd season with Brighton. Might have only just noticed it because I normally wiz through the news
 
I just noticed this for the first time as well. It does happen to be the first time I went that far into a save (beyond just the end of season #1), and I was playing with Tottenham. #1 was Gylfi Sigurdsson! Now we know the real reason AVB was fired - he wasn't playing the #1 shirt seller often enough!
 
Got it in my first season with Liverpool, finished 4th and won nothing. Only thing I can come up with, is that it's random? i don't know.
 
It seems to appear when you have a high reputation and/or a high income from merchandise. I found a topic on another forum basically asking the same thing but they didn't have an answer either...puzzling.

Your merchandising income is insane, in FM 13 as Arsenal I only cleared 30 million once.
