This will go slightly against normal game styles, instead I shall attempt to take Manchester United and turn them from a top Premier League side to a relegation threatened Conference North side (and maybe back again).

I will try to do it methodically and not just spend millions on useless part time players whilst selling top players for free. Nor will completely daft tactics wherein 8 goalkeepers star up front in a 0-0-10 formation with a 40 year old Moldovan striker in nets. It will be a gradual decline and to ensure I am not sacked I will be using the in game editor but I stress that will only be used to stop me getting sacked!
 
I just started laughing when I read this. Such a great idea!

Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has caused shock at Old Trafford following his decision to leave the 19 times Premier League winners to pursue a career as an actor in Coronation Street.

Van Gaal had only been in charge for a few months and had been appointed as a successor to David Moyes at the end of last season. Van Gaal led the Netherlands to the semi-finals of the World Cup before taking charge of the Red Devils.
 
New United Manage Appointed

Manchester United have suprisingly appointed 74 year old Uzbek manager Kennisov Dalglishov to replace Louis Van Gaal. But who exactly is Kennisov Dalglishov?

Will be interesting to see how this one works. Definately should upload the save at the end of each season for us to play as well!

When i saw the headline i thought you were the Most evil man in FM history but this is going to be a real hoot. I will replace man Utd with Liverpool in my mind to make it readable.
 
Interesting concept however a harder challenge would be to do the same with Celtic/Chelsea/Bayer/Real Madrid or Barcelona

I choose United beacause their are more playable divions in England (without editor). I suppose Chelsea would be slightly harder due to more money and Champions League but they are not as successful. If this works, I may repeat with a different team.
 
Hahaha I did this with Man United on the handheld 2013 game, it was fun. Lost 37-0 to Chelsea, still one of my finest hours :P
