Total Football!

Hi,

THIS has got to be one of the most successful football systems ever devised, often considered to be better than the new Barca or Madrid. Ajax dominated with this, you reckon that anything near it would be possible in FM??? Or something close to it. I would be the GOD of all tactics!!

What do you think??

Never heard of it...

Pretty sure everyone on this site has heard about Total Football. Recreating it on FM is nearly impossible. First you would need players with high adaptability plus fluency in at least 3 positions. Good luck.

It takes about 5 years to get a feasable total football system working.
Buying in the right players, training players positionally, PPM's, etc.

A total football system is easy. Getting your players to fit in is hard.

This would be massively hard. A striker who can easily adapt to be a defender?
You would need a massive amount of luck to find such a player, let alone a whole team.

Yeah, it'd just be amazing to see if someone can devise something as close to this, it would have to be something where everyone swaps positions with everyone else, a really complex system, with not necessarily godly players, but those who can adapt quickly, with the right stats... Challenge'inell!

It's not impossible, but takes a mountain of effort.
