REDKNAPP LEAVES IN TRANSFER DISPUTE

Harry Redknapp, former manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has left Tottenham Hotspur after his demand for more transfer money was declined. Daniel Levy, who has always driven a hard bargain, said no to his request and when Redknapp threatened to leave, he did just that. Redknapp felt the transfer budget that was allocated wasn't enough to ensure Champions league qualification, thus prompting him to ask for more. Many people are wondering who the next Tottenham manager will be, with the likes of David Moyes, Adres Villas Boas and Roberto Martinez all looking like possible candidates. The bookies favorite however, remains the Tottenham Hotspur youth coach, Olly ***, who has been good friends with Levy and has worked hard with the youth squad.

OLLY *** AWARDED MANAGER POSITION AT SPURS

Tottenham's youth coach has been awarded the position of Manager of Tottenham after two good seasons with the youth squad. Many people find that Levy has been very risky, choosing a low experienced person for the job, but in an interview, Daniel Levy said " I felt that Tottenham needed a change, and Olly has been a great person to the youth team and he is a lifelong Spurs fan too. I admit it is a risk, but its a risk I am willing to take. To dare is to do, as the Tottenham motto says."

Players out as *** begins

Olly ***, who has recently been appointed as Tottenham's new manager, has been scouting out a few players to sign for his squad. He has aimed for a Champions League Qualification, and has rumored to have been given £23.5M to spend on players. He has been rumored to be interested in Everton's CDM Marouane Fellaini, who Olly has been admiring since he became manager. He has also looked at the likes of CM Glyfi Siggurdsson, Ajax's CB, Jan Vertonghen, and Blackburns CB Christopher Samba. Whether or not he decides to make a bid is unknown to us right now. In other news, Tottenham beat Tottenham reserves, in which they won 5-0. Pavlyuchenko won MOTM and Danny Rose did remarkably well for the reserves, holding his own against Aaron Lennon. John Bostock is agreeing terms for a season loan to Millwall, and Giovanni Dos Santos is set for a season long loan to Sevilla with a future fee of 3.8m, they are also paying 650k upfront for the loan. Everton are showing interest in Dos Santos too, but it seems unlikely a deal can be made as Dos Santos is keen on moving to Sevilla.

Friendly Report

AFC Rapid Bucharest 0 - 3 Tottenham Hotspur

Friendly

MOTM: Gareth Bale

Summery

We played well during this match scoring three goals and Bale won Man Of The Match which shows he can still put in good performances even in friendlies. Adebayor had a good game and so did new boy Vertonghen. Niko Kranjcar gave us the lead after 16 minutes of play, Gareth Bale took the second goal with ease, and Emmanuel Adebayor finished off a good performance with a 41st minute goal. The second half was more dull but that was because I gave some youngsters some match play.

MATCH RATING: 5/10 Tottenham outplayed them, but it was a friendly so nothing exciting happened.
