I woke up this morning after a night out with the lad's and i turned on T.V to watch Sky Sports News only to see that Harry Redknapp has retired due to personal reasons. This is my chance to get the job of my dreams, but i have only had a few spell's managing and that was at Sheffield FC and Vauxhall Motors, i would be very surprised to get the job, but anyway i went onto the Tottenham website and printed off a Application Form, i filled it in and posted it...

I sat on my own and opened a beer, the Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy has released a statement that they have had loads of applications already, " We are delighted too see this many applications already, we are confident of finding our man in the next couple of hours"
"Great that's me out of the question"

I fell to sleep only to wake up the next day to see the headlines been 'Joseph Southern named new Tottenham manager'
I pinched myself, it just had to be a dream... I was wrong this is the real thing, this is the Big Time.

I rang up all my mates and told them the news,

"Hey Josh"
"Hey"
"Guess what!"
"What now?"
"I am the new Tottenham manager"
"Haaa, i think you are still drunk mate"
"Nope, turn on sky sports news then"
"****** **** you are!"
"Yeah, see you at White Heart Lane then?"
"You sure will"
*I hang up

This is a dream come true, who will i sign, i mean i have only ever had a dream about meeting the likes of Defoe, King, Crouch, Modric, Lennon, And i will be managing in the Champions League...

"Oh okay, what did you wan't?"
"Just to to be at work tomorrow morning at 10.30am "

I go to bed thinking about tomorrow and who i will get in the Champions League play off round and who will my first game be.

Alphonse Areola

He is a very talented player for his age and he could become a important first team player in years to come and for only a small fee of 875k

Marco Verratti

He only cost 2.5m so i don't think anyone can argue with that and again he will be a important first team player in the next couple of years.

He wasn't cheap at £14.25m but he will be a valuable player and will fit in the first team straight away.

He will brings in great experience to the midfield and will be a great leader and he only cost £7m

He will be a great asset, he will be our main striker and is a great leader who has masses of experience playing at a high level and he was a free transfer!

Mikael Silvestre

Another free transfer another good player, he will act as first team cover for Garet Bale but he is a great player non the less.

Simon Vuckevic

He is a very talented young player with lots of potential and i was able to bring him to white heart lane relatively cheaply at £10m.

William Gallas

I got the former Arsenal captain on a free he is a great player and ihe will be without doubt my captain for the season.
