Trained Players, Euro Cup, How to continue?

Hello,
I'm currently playing with Sunderland and have to submit a squad for the Euro Cup. I haven't got the 4 minimum required players trained at Sunderland needed to continue the game. Does this mean I'm going to have to start all over again? Any help would be much appreciated.

u must have, add someone from the reserves into the list

I don't, I have one trained player. I got rid of pretty much all the reserve team. Got plenty of U18's but they can't be selected.

if you are playing latest fm with 10.2 update, when you are home/country-grown players short for international competition, like you had just 1 player trained at club, you just have to leave the other places empty, meaning that you pick 22 players(including that 1 player) and leave 3 spots empty = 21 non club players + 1 club grown + 3 empty = 25 total. same goes for country trained players. next time ill have to pick a team ill make SS and post it
