Training

This is my first attempt at FM2016 and love it even though it drives me nuts!
I need help in Training.......can I dictate what areas to work on and how do I instruct individual players to practice on specific areas (shooting etc)?
when I go to instruct a player the drop down menu is not working (if that makes sense)

You can but just make sure your assistant hasn't been given that task. Check your Staff Responsibilities.
