Hey guys, im new to FM after years of Champ Man, and i was wondering if there is a setting that chooses your assistant to take training or do you have to do the schedule yourself??
Also is there any way to speed up the matches, it takes FOREVER even when on full speed and no highlights.

I don't think you can let your assistant take over coaching. You have to make the schedules yourself or download one from here

As for skipping matches, if you want to take no part other than picking the team and tactics, just select 'use current match' tactics from the team settings menu. Then, choose your team before the game, select team talk, OI etc, but instead of going to the match, go on a 1-day holiday. Just note one thing though - your assistant will issue warnings/fines if thinks it necessary.

You can speed up the highlights using the 'match speed' sliders while viewing the highlights. The shortcuts, Shift-J, Shift-K and Shift-L are really useful here
