Transfer Date

I just bought Rafael from Manchester United in my 1st season, completed the transfer deal but it says the transfer will go through on Friday July 1st 2011, it's currently August 2010. I also bought Davide Santon at the same time and he arrived straight away.

Can someone tell me why I have to wait another year to get Rafael?

P.S Anyone know who the best LB is in the game?

did u make an offer for him, saying that the transfer will be done after season ends ?

for santon, it must have be 'immediate', but maybe u mistakenly choose 'end of season' for Rafael. or possible u made the offer when teh window for ur leagues got closed.

I clicked on 'Next available', there was no option for immediate transfer, which is weird because it's right in the middle of transfer period. I made the offer for both players on the exact same date if that helps.

are u managing in England or outside. then it might be that ur league transfer window is closed even if the English window is open.

you can go into fmrte and change the transfer date if you want
i paid 15m for a player once
i didnt realise he was out on loan
so i had to wait a year for him
i just went into fmrte searched for the player
clicked future transfer and changed the date
