I was just wondering how people went about doing transfers to get the best deal possible and to make the most of the budget.

Do you pay immediately and then after so many games? Or do you pay nothing upfront and pay it over a certain number of months.

Normally I've paid some upfront and then the rest after normally 30 games, but I was wondering if there was a better way to maximise my budget.

I think it all depends on your finances and what your situation is. If you have a lot of money then you may as well pay all upfront. I you're not as rich then maybe pay some over monthly installments or clauses like the one you mentioned in the OP.

If you want to maximise your budget, pay £0 upfront then pay the rest over £48 month installments.
