Transfer problem: future fees

Hi, I am trying to sign Maxym Koval for Rayo, but since he is a bit too expensive, I put some of the transfer fee as future payments. Now it says that I do not have the funds to sign the player, even though I do have the initial fee ready! Is this the board not wanting to put the club in debt? Do you have to have a part of the future fee ready when you sign the contract?

did you do it as monthly installments? if so then you have to hae enough money to pay the first 12 months, i'm not sure about the other future clauses you can put in.

Ah, I see! I went for 13 mil over 48 months, but the club is poor as ****.
