I have a player who's current value is about £190k.

A team have made an offer:

Fee: 19.25k

Monthly Instalments: 12 months 36.5k

Total value: In excess of £79k

When I adjust the montly to £37.5k, the total value goes up to "in excess of 80k"

It looks like they're offering something over £400k, but I'd like to make sure before I hit the accept button.

i believe they want to pay you the 37k over a 12 month period. so just over 3k per month. the 19.25k fee is upfront money.

Yes, the 37.5k over 12 months means that the total value of the payments will be 37.5k (or 3125/month), not 37.5k each month. They are currently offering you 19.5k + 36.5k = 56k. There must be something more involved to get it up to 79k.
