Transfers - never get more than Value.

Why is it, if i have a player who scores 30 goals a season, but then he wants to leave, i can only sell him for his value which is like 8mil. when in real life surely i could get atleast 20million?
 
Do you offer to clubs for a higher price? Clubs always come in with small bids for my players but I negotiate and can usually double what they offer by only asking for some money up front and the rest in installments :)

If the players value is 8mil ill offer for 8Mil or if they did well 10mil. and clubs always come back with an 8mil offer:/

Also sometimes i cant negotiate the deals
 
if you're really annoyed, you could use FMRTE to edit the players value to what you believe he should be sold for, then offer him.

Would that work?

Because i want to sell Hamsik for 17mil. he got 26 assists and 11 goals last season. and i think 17mil would be a bargain

it should work. say hamsik it work £10mil, and you want £17mil. edit his value to £17mil, and you'll get offers around that price.
 
why do you want to sell hamsik? Keep trying to sell him. If he performs well, great clubs will make good offers

He wants to move to a bigger club and he told his team mates and they all complained to me that he was being treated badly.
 
If you want more, offer him higher. Offer him for ~£25mil, and make sure "set as uneeded and transfer list" is unchecked. After offering, manually list him and set him to rotation or backup.

Bang on the money.

Just like in real life, you don't need to sell him, so wait until someone stomps up the money or he stays.

How do i change his squad status mate?
 
when my player wanted to leave, Marco Torres (made up) at Man City I didn't transfer list him, but he went to the press and cause he was on awesome form but he just didn't like me, there became a bidding war! ended up getting 35 mil! :D

yeah it annoys the **** out of me! so unrealistic, even if people are transfer listed, people still get more than 'market value' if a lot of teams are interested.

Yer i know:/ and the thing is we have to pay almost double for the AIs players
 
Is Hamsik got a lot of suitors?

If so, the method should work. If they don't want to pay it, you don't have to sell.
 
I also find that if you ask for money in installments you tend to recieve more in the long run. got £73M in installments for selling my star regen because i had a cheaper replacement breaking into the team. :)
