Transfers not working

Hi I recently signed Xavi and Buffon as coaches while at their current clubs (Juve) (Barca). I've been waiting for them for 3 seasons now but they still haven't joined. It says on their profile joining on 1.1.1900!!

HELP PLEASE!

This is à bug I have read about at SI's bugsforum but have not seen a solution to fix it once it has happened.
