Transfers wont work downloading any ideas or help will be nice

Some more detailed information would be nice too.

Have you downloaded a transfer update? If so, put the downloaded file (if it's a .rar, unzip it first) in the Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2011/editor data folder and start a new game. You cannot update it in the middle of a saved game.

downloaded transfer update put it in editor data and went to new game and clicked on new changes nothing there
