Derby Day: (Premier Division Season Opener)
Newcastle 2 - 1 Sunderland
St James Park
Attendance: Sold Out
Goalscorers: Ayoze Perez( 6 ) Siem De Jong(36) Sebastian Larsson (46)

An overall even game, with each half being dominated by one side, but Sunderland didn't have the ability to put more than one past Krul. De Jong scored from outside the box. Great debut performance and we claim a win in the first Tyne & Wear Derby of the season. The next one is in January.

Premier Division Gameweek 2:
Hull 3 - 1 Newcastle
The Circle
Attendance: 24,625
Goalscorers: Tom Huddlestone(14, 90+3) Tim Krul (OG) (46) Ayoze Perez(10)

A loss to ten men Hull was... disappointing to say the least. Tim Krul decided to flick one into his own net at the start of the second half, and Tom Huddlestone scored at 35 yard screamer which sailed into the top corner. They went down to ten men in the 39th minute, so we had more than enough time to score a winner.

Capital One Cup 2nd Round
Newcastle 2 -
0 Coventry
St James Park
Attendance: 41,758
Goalscorers:
Ayoze Perez (65) Mousa Sisshoko (90)

Win against lower opposition, Perez still scoring for fun, next round V Blackpool at Bloomfield.

Premier Division Gameweek 3
Newcastle 1 - 0 Swansea
St. James Park
Attendance: 50,157
Goalscorers: Perez (25)

Home win against a side with very good players, though they do seem to slump in game.

Month Overview:
6 points and another round towards expectations for the league cup. I'm still disappointed after that Hull result though. Ayoze Perez scored four goals in four starts, insane. I heard he was overpowered on this game, but that's mad form.

So I can get to next season quicker I'll be doing this much more boring and less interesting season overview.
We weren't able to do the job away from home for the most part. A 1 - 0 away loss at Palace showed this, Followed by a 2 - 1 dramafest against united, with a final minute goal from Ayoze Perez. A 5 - 2 horror show at Stamford Bridge. A 5 - 0 away victory at Bloomfield put us into the next round of the Capital One Cup against Liverpool.
On to october,A loss at White Hart Lane, followed by a 2 - 0 win against West Brom and a two goal come back against Liverpool to win 3 - 2 and put us into the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup.

We go on to lose to 10 men West Ham... 3 - 1... When we will actually get a point against a 10 men team I don't know. We claim our first league away win of the season, a 5 - 0 destruction of Leicester City.
We drop points for the first time at home against Stoke, a game we dominated yet couldn't win. Next was Burnley, after bringing it from 3 - 0 to 3 - 2 I thought we could win it, and I was completely wrong.

Into December, where we drop points at home again, this time against Southampton, very lucky to get away with that one. Away at the Etihad we went 2 - 0 quick, but Carlos Fierros first goal and a Wijnaldum solo goal made it 2 - 2. QPR at home was disappointing, it was so boring despite Ayoze Perez scoring in the first 10 minutes. Into the semi-finals of the league cup after a late goal from Wijnaldum secured it, and we claim revenge at Turf Moor. A loss at Villa Park is disappointing, another time we were dominated, yet scored. We made a great return to form, getting our first important away win at Goodison.

And then we complete the league double over Sunderland in the Wear & Tyne Derby to kick January off. We flop before Liverpool in the FA Cup, after fighting to 3 - 4 after being 0 - 4 down. First home loss of the season. The team we face in the League Cup Semis', we face in the league, with a 1 - 0 revenge victory after our shocking loss to ten men Hull in August. Nathan Dyer slots home an own goal to insure we don't lose away at relegation candidates Swansea. A draw in the first leg is enough to see us through to the league cup final, Rolando Aarons returns from his loan at Doncaster, and slots away a 90th minute winner at St. James, to give us a ticket to Wembley. We get dominated by a Rooney brace and a Di Maria header at Old Trafford. We Bring in Matt Ritchie on deadline day to Replace Sissokho who was sold to Tottenham for 13m, which could rise to 22m.

We get a win over Pardew at St. James to start February, before Chelsea complete the league double over us. Matt Ritchie scores a brace in the last 10 minutes at Anfield to give us a point.

At this point Newcastle hover around 7th place.

Love the title! :p

Couldn't ask for a better start with Newcastle than beating Sunderland...

We go into the biggest game of the season on terrible form, we get a point thanks to Lloris scooping an off target shot into his own net, essentially killing off Tottenham's title hopes, and we play West Brom, who hadn't won a home game in 5 matches and were in 16th. Losing 3-2 after going 1-0 up.

Now..
League Cup Final

Newcastle v Everton
Date: 1st March
Stadium: Wembley
Attendance: 90,000

Both sides haven't won a domestic cup in years, Newcastle's manager has the chance to make history and win Newcastle their first ever League Cup, they lost their only ever final in 1976. Everton haven't won a cup since 1995, and are on a high, in the champions league places currently.

Lineups
QgutL6p.png
The first half starts well for Newcastle, as they get a chance in the third minute, Ayoze Perez searches for his 19th goal of the season, flicking it at the net with the outside of his boot, it's saved by Tim Howard and cleared by Leighton Baines before Fabricio Coloccini can get to it. In the 44th minute Osman hits the bar from 20 yards before Coleman sprints forward and blazes it over from 10 yards.

The second half starts. Little action until Tiote swipes his leg into the calf of Osman, should be a red, referee keeps his cards pocketed and awards a penalty. Leighton Baines, who pundits said could make the difference steps up. He sends a rocket into the top corner! Everton deservedly lead after a dominating performance! The Trophy drought could be over!

Newcastle 0 - 1 Everton

Baines (79)
It looks bleak for Newcastle United, but Georgino Wijnaldum picks up the ball on the right, and he gets past Osman, he puts in a sloppy cross... but Stones misses it! The ball falls to Perez who puts it in with the right! Game on! Perez picks up number 19! Can he hit 20 by the end?!

Newcastle 1 -1 Everton
Ayoze Perez (82)
Full time! Into extra time is where this match will go! Whose drought will end?
Half time of extra time.
This looks like a bore draw, as Tim Krul collects a long ball at the edge of the box, he boots it up, 1 additional minute, Coloccini heads the ball on, to Wijnaldum, who runs along the wing, the same one he created the last goal from, he puts in a high cross, it's met by the former Sunderland man Jack Colback! He jumps and volleys it with the right! After playing for Sunderland last year in the same cup, he's just won it with Newcastle!

Newcastle 2 - 1 Everton
Jack Colback (120+2)
Everton kick off, Osman plays it over, Tim Krul collects... and it's all over!
Newcastle have won their first ever League cup! And it's been won by the man who went directly from Sunderland to Newcastle! Wembley has exploded, as not only do Newcastle have a cup, they have Europe! Despite facing 3rd place Everton, and slumping into tenth, Newcastle have done it!

Final Games

We went down to ten men against West Ham... Yeah, I might not be able to beat them, like, ever. We bring the form back after 5 games without a win in the EPL, a 1 - 0 victory against Leicester might not be the 5 -0 thrashing we got at the King power stadium at this point Leicester would need to do what they did in real life to avoid relegation. Three points at the Britannia is good as we drew earlier. A 2 - 0 victory against surprise team Burnley, who despite selling Ings, sat around 5 points outside the relegation zone. I think that's 2/3 against Burnley. Tense victory at St. Marys, Coloccini picked up his third goal of the season. We come from 2 - 0 down AGAIN against Manchester City, and Carlos Fierro gets his 3rd goal of the season, that sounds disappointing, but he's been the main supplier for Perez this season.

A 0 - 0 against QPR where we had the chance to seal it all off near the end. The highlight of the season of the season in the league came next, 3 - 0 away at Goodison Park, fantastic. We needed to win away at the Emirates to get into 7th, we undeservedly lost. I instant resulted the Villa game, as we were guaranteed our league position. League table next.

League Table

8th place and a cup is very good for a terrible manager like me and a side like Newcastle. Also, Sunderland actually got relegated... EVERYBODY PARTY! 2/3 promoted sides stayed up is great, as both their star players left.Speaking of Promoted sides, Huddersfield surprisingly won the championship, and Middlesbrough nearly got relegated. Chelsea got 91 points, four points off the record. One half of Merseyside did fantastic, while the other was incredibly disappointing. Also, Everton beat Man Utd 2 - 0 at Wembley, so they're droughts over as well.

Jonjo Shelvey signs for Newcastle.

4/6/15
shelv_1810610a.jpg
Jonjo Shelvey has been signed to Newcastle United FC. After Swansea were relegated, Newcastle were able to buy him for 11.25M. The transfer has been criticized as a case of Jonjo Shelvey being overpriced due to being English. He is apparently going to be played alongside January deadline day acquisition Matt Ritchie.

Paul Dummett Sold to Crystal Palace for 4 - 7m

13/6/15
_77805358_dummett_getty.jpg
Newcastle defender Paul Dummett has been sold to Crystal Palace for an initial fee of 4m, which is most likely to rise to 7m, and under good conditions can rise to 8-12m. The move hasn't made a lot of sense to fans, not only is Dummett still young, as well as having a very successful season. Not too mention how little depth Newcastle have at Left-back.

Transfer Budget: 21.98m
Wage Budget: 925k

Board Goals: Qualify for Europa League
My Goals:
Reach knockouts of Europe
Get to Wembley again
Don't lose to West Ham.

Newcastle United run out of budget.

We start our Europa League qualification attempt in the third round. In other news, Riviere departed for 6.5m, he went to Hull. After that we signed 25 year old Danny Rose for 8.5m. Onto the fixtures!
Danny Rose has signed for Newcastle United, directly before the start of the season. The fee is believed to be in the region of 5 - 8m. Emmanuel Riviere has left Newcastle, going to Hull City for 6 - 7m

We start our Euro Cup campaign at home to Shakter (Not Donetsk), We start in the the third qualfiying round.

Europa League 3rd Ql. Second Leg

1rcjLmA.png

First Leg at Saint James was a bore-draw, but We're through to the playoff, against Austrian Side SK Sturm Graz. The board has relatively low-hopes for Europe, but I want to make it all the way to the knockouts. Remy Cabella and Carlos Fierro scored relatively normal goals. But Danny Rose involuntarily back heeled it into the net, after the worst clearance I've seen in this save.

Premier League Matchday 1
0cPenfY.png

Well, this is an eventful start to the season... Carlos Fierro gets 2 goals in 3 appearances. He scores in the 34th, as the shot goes through the legs of Mertesacker and Szczesny can't get down quick enough. Ayoze Perez quickly scores one in the other corner, and we shut the game down. Arsenal have 27 shots, yet can't get more than six on target. Danny Welbeck hits the bar and it falls to Chamberlain, who toe taps it in. They get into the box like six times in the last six minutes, yet can't get one on target.

Europa League Pl. Ql. Leg 1

3KFozjd.png
Fully deserved victory for them here, it was a boring game, we mustered two shots, they got six out, but one of them was a curling shot from Punz (Great name). We need to pull it back against them at St. James Park.

Premier League Matchday 2
Opv1dvn.png
Well, last time we faced them at Stamford Bridge we lost 5 - 2? No positives, if we could've finished our easy chances, it would've been 3 - 2 and if Coloccini hadn't chested it into his own net, it would have been a draw. This is just what we need before going into a massive European game.

Europa League Pl. Ql. Leg 2

yI33Rpc.png
We pull it back! Perez and Fierro finish goals in the 37th and 47th minutes, we quickly try to hold them on down, but they fight, especially Punz. We get to the groups!

Europa League Group

rJxVHdm.png
The Group draw could have gone so much better, I mean, for a side that qualified from the league this would be fine, but we are below the standard of 2/3 of these teams, if we can scrape second I'll be happy.
