Trying to get third kits working...

I am trying to use the editor to add a third kit to a team with out one for use in cup matches etc. I've tried just adding a third kit, never seems to work. tried adding the specific competitions to the third kit and no dice. I've tried adding a different home and away kit and set the specific competitions I want them worn for and doesn't work either. I've tried doing all of those at once and still nothing. What am I missing or does it just not work? Thanks to anyone that can help.

Maybe try asking in the kits section

Try adding the year your in on the game into the config, so its

<record from="" to="graphics/pictures/team//kits/away/2012"/>

I looked in kits but that seemed more making and adding custom graphics for kits. I'm just trying to add a third kit with only the editor.

So if I try that, basically I would have to edit it for my save every year?
