I was reading a story awhile back someone had crystal palace in the prem & was doing well, cant remember who and cant seem to find the story, but he bought some striker for about a mill, he was only young like 17 or 18 and he become good. lol

Hoping someone could give me the link or name?

EDIT: oh and he had a poll up at one point asking if he should carry on with the game!

This is a long shot mate i doubt many people would remember this unless by any chance the story writer reads this post. Got any other details about the player? Nationality? Club?
 
The story thread must have been deleted because it was S.J's story.
 
If it were a few seasons in and he bought a 17-year-old superstar, there's a high probability that it was a regen.
 
it was either david n gog or lamina traore, i know his story well
 
If i new what club, then i would find him lol :P, and i think he MAY of been from Belarus, but i could be wrong but i know a few people have signed him and its driving me bonkers!

Ive looked at the link at the palace stories and its none of them :S

i just looked in s.j's deleted palace story. (the perk of being a mod)
