"Turned out bad" Players.

I only started watching football 2-3 years ago, and played FMH 2012, and FM 2013, and now FM 2014..Though i played premier manager 2004-2005 on GBA way back then.

I just wanted to know who are the "Wonderkids" in previous FM / or even in real life, that turns out to be awful or maybe ruined by injuries..

Example in year 2017, Neymar/Bale/Isco in FM2017/ IRL became average guys

There is no such thing as "turned out to be average guys" by default.
This is due to many parameters.

For example player's management by you or AL (playing him in wrong positions without the proper training, dont give them enough games during season- that is over 25 games etc ).

Also another reason might be that they are injury prone (this can be seen in scout reports tab of the player) and these regular and prolonged injuries had stalled player's development and transformed them to average guys.

Furthermore morale is vital too.
If your players' morale is low then ofc they won't perform according to their true value..

Another reason, less usual, might be giving players bad/ improper PPMs like "dive into tackles" to a slow DC (that failing a tackle may expose his defence and receive easy goals) OR "shoot from distance" to a below 10ish long shot CM making him often waste ball possession to stupid shots.

At the end its also due to their Potential ability.
Not all wonderkids reach the same PA..
But I doubt this is your problem in your save as you mention beasts like Neymar , Isco etc.

So take into consideration all the above reasons and then check what you are doing wrong.

Quaresma - Had issues with managers and failing to perform (apart from at Porto).

Robinho - failed to keep form consistent and ending up jumping around big clubs as a very expensive rotational player.

Saviola and Bojan - Just failed to make it outside of youth level.

Pato - turned to glass then failed to join PSG when he probably should have. Starting to improve again now but Injuries and lack of form/games took its tole at Milan.

Adriano - drinking, lost fitness and had a **** attitude.

Guti - Knew he was great so was lazy, liked to party and not do much on a pitch.

@vaggi - I guess you misunderstood my question. TommyD gave the best example, I remember watching CNN's world sport (For tennis and basketball), where Robinho was sold to Man City.

@tommy - In previous FM, how Adu's potential? is he like the line of Lamela, Bernard etc in terms of being great after a couple of years?

That's what happens when you give a 14 year old the world basically. Tell him he is the best thing since sliced bread, sign him to a lucrative MLS contract and multimillion dollar sponsorship deals, and heap a nation worth of expectations on a literal child's head. He was doomed to fail with the expectations and how he was thrown right into the deep end.

Messi happened.
Then shortly after Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Pedro, Villa and a few others all joined and he just slowly slipped down the pecking order. Didn't have a great season at Roma but lack of any real solid game time on a consistent basis is probably what held him back so far.
