I searched the topics but didn't find anything like this. So here goes:
I'm managing Real Madrid and have had one assistant manager- Ruben Cousillas till now. But he's not got outstanding attributes or anything, so I promoted(by offering new contract) a coach I had- Valdir de Moraes to Assistant Manager while still keeping Cousillas. So I've got 2 assistant managers now. I don't want to let go of Cousillas because he has a very good Goalkeeper coaching stat, is a World Class assistant manager and because de Moraes is very old too(78 years old!). But the problem now is, Cousillas is still the one giving second opinion in the Backroom Advice screen, Cousillas is still the one who gives "Assistant Manager's feedback" during matches like "it would be beneficial to show XYZ onto his weaker side", etc. The only difference is that I can get Team Reports and Team Talk reports from de Moraes. De Moraes has got unbelievable stats and has around 85-90% in each and every Backroom Advice area like Club Players' Knowledge(100% of course), Man Management, Squad Management, Recruitment, Youth Development, Tactical and Training.
I want de Moroes to be the "first choice" Assistant Manager- give the second opinions in Backroom Advice and in-match assistant manager feedback. Is there ANY way to do this other than by firing Cousillas? I tried offering Cousillas a first-team coach contract with highest wages and signing bonus possible but he's obviously not accepting the step down.
Any ideas?
