This may of bein posted up before but just wanted to ask a quick question. I have a good training schedule for my 1st and reserve teams but was wondering what kind of set up people use to train their youth team? So, for the 1st year, shall i focus more on the fitness side of things or shall i focus on the technical side of things? Also, is it best to give them a heavy schedule?
 
not sure about technical or fitness but i wouldn't put them on a heavy schedule at an early age.
 
Don't put them on a heavy scheduale. But them on a medium one. I would focus more on the physical side of things, whilst still giving a bit technically. This means they improve their technical stats while they improve their stamina and natural fitness, so they can play day in and day out for the club in the future.
