Uefa Super Cup final- Chelsea vs Bayern (chelsea tactic research)

(I must apologize first because english isn't my first language)

I'm looking for a tactic . Kind of a underdog tactic , where you contain and when you have the ocasion you break with a very fast counter attack . I have seen the Uefa super cup final and enjoyed the way mourinho did it . I can't explain very well how he tacticaly aborded the game , but he was defending very deep( i believe ) and then he countered using the wingers ( hazard and Schurrle) . I would like to recreate such a tactic but unfortunately i am not a master . So if anyone has watched the game , maybe he could help me with some advices.

I don't think this is really hard to recreate.
I could recreate it, but because it just aims to counter attack and hope for the best, it'd be hard to determine whether it's actually a successful tactic or not.
