undeserved stats

I don't know is there being a thread like this, because my search engine is still not work
Anyway.. have you opinion that some players in the game have higher ratings than what should have?
For example, Alberto Gilardino have awesome stats in game, but in real life he hasn't done anything special to deserve this. Ok, maybe I have wrong example, because Gilardino isn't that bad, but definetly Miguel Veloso is the real example

Akinfeev, from what I have seen of him he is good. But certainly not in the top 5 goalkeeper's in the world.

Veloso is a true example.. I just signed him and he is pretty dam awesome!
Another i would consider is Gourcuff admittedly I dont watch much french football but I dont think he deserves to be one of the best on the game

I don't really think we need a thread for this. Players are given ratings over a long period of time by thousands of scouts that FM hire, I'm sure they can do a better job than us, I mean do you guys even watch French, Italian or Portuguese football? And besides how boring would the game be if there was no hidden gems or players from lower leagues who are amazing etc. No point complaining about it.
