Would anybody like to help me try to emulate some well known players unique roles that they have played in? For example I've tried using Kevin de bruyne in the rm position and a wide midfielder on support trying to emulate a David beckham role. I have gave him player instructions telling him to basically hit a cross from deep or a through ball as soon as he gets the ball but he hardly ever does them? As a worst case scenario I have told him to play more direct passes but all of his passes seem to be short inside to the cm? Could somebody please help me with this creating a "David beckham" role. Also feel free to include other players roles who are just abit different and unique in their own little way.

thanks

Make de bruyne unlearn "Cut inside" PPM as that's why he's always looking to pass to the man on the inside. His other PPMs suit the role so make sure you have plenty of player ahead of him making runs, otherwise, he'll dribble instead of pass.

My FM take on David Beckham would be:

Wide Midfielder (Right)_Support
- Get Further Forward
- More Risky Passes
- Cross From Deep
- Aim Crosses At Target Man

Thanks people, I have asked de bruyne to stop cutting inside. Do you think his player instructions should be "sits narrower" or "stay wider"? Also do you know how long it will take for him to unlearn the PPM?
