Unrealistic Results?

Hi,
I have Fm Handheld on Ipod Touch and I can play as any top team (Man Utd, Barcelona, Chelsea, etc.) and I am fine with friendlies (Usually results in 3-0/4-0 wins). But when the league starts, I can only manage losses and draws, maybe 1 or 2 wins in about 10 games. I'm in bottom-half of the table by then This happens with almost all world-class teams. Help?

Not getting this on my iPod, been playing with arsenal and right now i won the champions league in my first season (champions cup on handheld) and got 3rd in the premier league... also won the FA cup now on my 3rd season, got runners up last season and won the cl again, plus the fa cup. have you tried adjusting the player roles from the match? maybe change the training regimes, and have you signed new players? often the advice given to you about what players to sign is bad imo. try searching for players to sign, also change the basic team tactics under club... imo never go long passing, short is best, also don't do offside trap or you'll be conceding a lot even with the offsides. have you tried changing your formation? its really annoying me that you cant make your own on handheld. also im the manager of the england team... "Fabio Capello Shock Retirement" or something like that... then its just under jobs lol. hope this helps . Try to check the ratings of the players and sub the ones with low condition (cn). See the areas of the team that need new players and save some money for the winter transfer period, because if you see that your squad needs improving after seeing them play in the league a lot and you have no funds to buy... it can get really annoying.
