Unrealistic transfers

Anyone else noticed this this year??
I'm trying to buy young players worth less than ?1m and there clubs are wanting ?40m +
to make it even worse I'm trying to sell thorgen hazard worth ?8.6m and koen casteels worth ?6m, I offer them both for sale all the way down to ?500k and not one bid, come on this is just a bit unrealistic >:(
 
Yeah, I see where you're coming from.

Wolfsberg want like 17m for Julian Brandt, he has a preference to join my team (Dortmund), wants to leave, he's worth under 1m and only has a year on his contract remaining (it's now Oct and he keeps turning down every contract they offer). I offered 8m for him and they turned it down - so they're gonna lose a under 18 player on a free. Doesn't make financial sense to me, especially for Wolfsberg.
 
Yeah I've tried to buy a couple of youngsters for my utd squad, massively inflated prices!
 
ye its weird ive seen like sakho from liverpool go for like ?3m and santon for ?5m and tiote for ?9m then like but then you see like teams wanting ?20m for average players worth like ?3m
 
Yeah I wanted to buy a 4M-valued player and they asked for 40M, and I had rich clubs like Monaco, PSG, offer me like 4M for my 12M-valued player.
 
I think selling is bit worse in this game, but some players can't be sold because of wages. Clubs mostly bid the players' value on my important players that I can't sell and they want Double amount for a player valued lesser.
 
Oh, let me tell you about stupid transfers. First, it's nearly impossible to sell someone unless he's not on the transfer list and a club is interested. Second, AI always makes insulting bids for them. And wages have no influence on that. For example, I signed Bolado on a free in my first season with Palace and loaned him to Watford for the season. He had a good season and came back a "good championship striker". He is on 2.5k per week and is valued at 475k, in his last year of the contract. Offering him away for free - no takers. The only deadwood I've been able to get rid of left for peanuts and I'm still paying at least half the wages for. But this season was the first time the AI was on the receiving end, albeit it was self inflicted. My first game into my second season, Owen Garvan comes to me to complain about lack of first time football. I found it odd, given that he was getting playtime in the previous season and this one only started. Still, long story short - he found himself on the transfer list. Fast forward 2 days - Derby, freshly promoted comes to take him on loan. They offer me 850k pounds per month, pay 10% of his wages(which are 16k) and have the option to buy him for 800k at any time during the loan. This is the worst financial decision I have seen in my life, bar none.
 
I can't sell Robben, nobody wants him :O, but, Draxler i have to pay 45.50 Mill, since Draxel is much much better than Robben, in real life, ofc.

Robbens aging and on massive wages, Draxler is one of the better young players on the game. Nothing wrong with that in the slightest, same applies to most older high wage player and the young high rep players.

Yep, but i can sell Ribery who's older.... and if someone bids Draxler IRL for 30 Mill they would sell, not 70 that they are asking! He is not Bale!
 
Sergio Aguero to Boca Juniors after 3 years, it was 15M+Leandro Paredes, I was shocked to see that Aguero was in Juventus, and I was in Napoli
 
Some players just cant be sold cause of their wage demands. Same goes for Fernando Torres. That's why he's playing for ADO Den Haag now (low ranks dutch premier division)
 
I have noticed a massive issue with trying to but 17/18/19 year olds that are unknowns in the real world but have decent stats...its near impossible to buy these unless they are from a team that could really do with the 1m that is offered...I will not go above 1.5m for someone that will develop at my club and will then want to play for someone else once he's developed...not worth it...SI need to address this issue of overpriced youngsters and underpriced veterans...I tried selling numerous players for ?0 and no one would take them...I needed to free up space in the team but I find it difficult due to the strangeness that no on wants a free player...what's the crack with that!!!!
 
That doesn't exactly seem like a bug to me.. IRL, clubs don't really want to give away their youngsters.. You'll have to unsettle the youngster, to submit a transfer request, in order to get him for cheap, although the chances of that happening are very less..

As for no-one wanting a free player, that too, is somewhat okayish.. Most big clubs don't want to upset their rhythm and team harmony by unnecessarily getting in new players, even if they're free, unless they sorely need it, whereas smaller clubs probably can't afford the wage demands and bonuses of a star, or he may not want to move to them..
 
Yeah... Transfers are nonsense this year. Specially when you want to buy a young player whose value is 1-2M and they ask for 20M
 
I have a Tottenham game going at the moment.

I offered 5 or 6 million for Julian Brandt, who had 1 year left on his contract and they wanted some crazy high amount for him. Just started my second season and got Brandt for nothing.

Also trying to buy a keeper from Gladbach, he has refused to sign a contract for a year and they still do not accept double the players value. Surley they would sell a player if they knew he wasn't going to sign a new contract.

Then Real and Man City come in for my top players and offer less than their value even though they are not listed?
 
Barcelona just offered less than half for that keeper, Gladbach accepted and now they have accepted my bid, which is less than half of what I offered about a "game Time" Week ago..
