Awards Festivity on St. James' Park

Even after failing to secure promotion back to Premier League, due to a loss in Play-Offs Final against Wolverhampton, Newcastle Board organised the Yearly Awards on St. James' Park. The stadium was crowded with over 50,000 fans who were praising Top Scorer and Player of the Year.
Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan were given praises and appreciations of Toon Army, who were chanting their names for 2 minutes.
We had an emotional moment, our Spokesman, Florin Pavel, a 44 years old die hard Newcastle Fan explained his pride to be our Spokesman and already said he will support this club, even after death. Those words were filling players' hearts with a great pride to be playing for such a club and they promised to the fans that next year won't be the same.
Newcastle Manager, Chris Hughton, was not the subject of our fans, however, he was thanked by Pavel, who shaked his hand with pride.

Sensational quit at St. James' Park

Two months after Newcastle United failed to go back in Premier League and Chris Hughton has officially announced his resignation, under the United Chairman pressure, Mike Ashley.
Looking at the votes over the official site, it has clearly showed the fans' disappointing at staying another year in Coca Cola Championship. The question being "Are you happy with Hughton being sacked?", 89% of the Toon Fans said "Yes", while only 11% appreciated Irishman work.
Anyway, Ashley moved fast and hired the Newcastle United Spokesman, Florin Pavel, as their manager. It was a shocking move, everyone was expecting at an Experienced Manager, who can help them to promote in Premier League.
However, the fans are still confident of Pavel, even the Media has already started few polls on how long he will stay at Newcastle.

Newcastle United finished the Pre-Season friendlies with a new signing

Newcastle United had finished their Pre-Season Friendlies and they are moving on their own turf for the last training days on St. James' Park before the kicking Day in Coca Cola Championship. Even we were lead by an Unexperienced Manager, our squad seemed strong enough to beat some teams who clearly have been weaker than us. You can find below our matches and the scorers.

Newcastle United 3-0 Newcastle Reserves (Barton, Routledge, Lovenkrands)
Crewe Alexandra 2-3 Newcastle United (A. Smith x2, Nolan)
Estoril 0-5 Newcastle United (Postiga x3, Djalo, Jonas)
Freamunde 1-3 Newcastle United (Campos - O.G., Barton, A. Carroll)
Varzim 0-3 Newcastle United (Postiga, Barton, Pancrate)
Aves 0-5 Newcastle United (Djalo x3, L. Best, J. Enrique)
Northampton Town 0-5 Newcastle United (Postiga x2, Ameobi x3)

Also, we have loaned Helder Postiga for the whole season, the Portugese Striker has already showed his pleasure to work with his teammate from Sporting, Djalo. He also said he is looking for a permanent move at St. James' Park.

Pavel & Co. to play West Bromwich in
Opening Day in Championship

Our first match in the second season in Championship is against the recently relegated from Premier League, West Bromwich. Pavel said he will expect a win on Hawthorns, even if a draw wouldn't be bad.

Newcastle United started the new Campaign with a victory

Our players showed ambition and flair in a 1-3 victory on The Hawthors, against West Brom, Saturday Night.
Newcastle started well and created few chances, then it was West Brom turn to put our net in danger. Anyway, the injured Postiga was replaced with Carroll, who put his name twice on the Scorer Table. It was 2-0 before West Brom scoring immediately after Carroll's second goal, *** making a wonderful chance and finishing it in the back of our net.
Djalo managed to score a goal on his debut to give us a great victory against a pretender of Promotion Places.
