R.A Fans Rejoice at Flanagan Bargain Buy.

Striker Callum Flanagan today signed for Darlington RA after a free transfer from Ashton United. It is hoped Flanagan who was a Man U youngster will offer competition and cover to the strikers at Darlington.

Whitehaven 0-2 Darlington R.A - 15/8/2009.

The summer signings were revealed before the fans in the real arena today as 6 deputants made up the RA 11. Two of them, David Mawson and Andy Hayward gave them the points today

Northumbria 1-0 Darlington RA. - 22/8/2009
The RA named a relativley unchanged line up, of course but for Paul Beavers who suffered a pulled hamstring in the win to Whitehaven. The Railwaymen went down to a one nil defeat in the 84th minute. A dissapointing performance.

RA go International!
R.A boss Luke Sirrell unveiled two new players today. Moussa Rattab a Morrocan attacking midfielder and Micheal Jatto, a versatile Nigerian defender.
Sirrell was reported saying that he was delighted with the capture of these characters of the game.

Darlington RA 0-0 Brandon - 29/8/2009
The three new signings all made their debuts but unfortunately, not one player from either team could make their mark on this game. RA sit eleventh in the league.

Darlington RA 1-1 North Shields - 5/9/2009
The RA faced their second home game in two weeks and the outcome was the same. John O'shea, ( not that one ) grabbed the opener for the RA after thirteen minutes but North Shields got the equaliser on the stroke of half time.

Good luck :)

Will follow because of the thread name ;)

Glifford Park 0-1 Darlington RA - 12/9/2009
RA are still looking for their first win since the begining of the season and could not find it away to Glifford Park. In the 76th minute, Steve Robinson struck for the home team to pile more misery onto Luke Sirrell's men.

Dean Douglas signs from Whitley Bay.
Darlington RA completed the signing of left winger, Dean Douglas from local rivals Whitley Bay. He bcomes the second player to transfer to the Railwaymen from Whitley Bay and will look to solve the left sided problem.

Armthorpe 1-2 Darlington RA - 19/9/2009
The RA shocked their opponents, Armthorpe Welfare who expected a comprehensive victory. It was a well deserved win, Paul Beavers grabbing a goal on his return from injury and defender Stuart Martin scored from the spot. RA are through to the next qualifying round of the FA Vase.
