Uploading Help

ok well i have been uploading a file of textures for photoshop for at least 4-5hours

its 964MB

so if any one has any idea on how long it will take or if any one has uploaded a big file before

Big pack take a vey long time to upload. Just leave it to upload, and doo something else. It took over 30 mins to upload a 70MB file for me. You just got to be patient.

964mb is a big file to upload, especially with the terrible upstream speeds we get in the UK.

Will take a few hours.

ok so after almost 6 hours of uploading firefox decides that its taking to long to load and go to refresh page so i have to start again

I recommend you upload it to somewhere else that has a better file uploader. The one on FM-Base is very simple and isn't really made to handle large files.

I'd recommend splitting it up into at least 4 parts.
