The first season he got 35 goals but since then his rating has been declining and now it is at 5.5 most games. Are there any tips on how to get the best out of him?

dont play him for a couple of games use someone else. then put him on with like 30mins to go if ur winnin see if he can score if he does start him he will be on fire again
