Van der vaart ST ?

Im middlesbrough in the championship in the year 2012 (3rd season) and i have van der vaart should i play him up front ? please help ?

I've seen a few people have success playing him as a complete forward

I played him as a an att mid (support) as a false nine type player in a 4-6-0 with some success

He played extremly well for me in inside forward attack...scored 18 goals and had 9 assists in the league and was named english footballer of the year....so just something to think about

i probably wouldn't play him as a striker, i'd play him behind the striker 4-4-1-1 style and let him roam.

He has no real strength or pace so you're going to have to rely on his creativity and passing more than anything.

On my 3rd year Spurs save he seems to perform best as a supporting Advanced Playmaker, however I have used him as a Trequartista centre forward along side Defoe/Bojan where he can be very effective. Seems to score at least 10-15 long range screamers per season.
