VERY good lower league players

I've always wondered, players like Charlie Austin, Anthony Pilkington and Bradley Johnson all started off in the lower leagues, and now they're all established Championship and above. Are there any players that you've bought or know of that have come from League 2 or below, that are good for the higher leagues or have developed into a good player? (Try to exclude regens)
