Hi guys, firstly apologies if this is in the wrong section. However, Wanyama is wanting away at the start of the third window. After three requests I have granted him permission to leave - providing my 40mik asking price is met.

Ifeally though I want him to stay as he is my best player. Any suggestions as to what to do? Firstly what I can try to do to keep him, and secondly if he does end up leaving, who can I get in as a like for like replacement? I don't mind a more experienced signing as he can tutor my youngsters. S my BWM he is doing a great job doin the dirty work, and as I have just reached the champions league I need to replace with someone who can come in straight away.

Fernando from FCP. just use the filter to search for same sort of players might be some amazing regens.

Lars Bender would be my first choice, or Sven Bender. They are both very strong in the BWM roles. Fernando (full name: Fernando Francisco Reges) is another one who might be available.

You can use the find similar players tool you might be able to find a good replacement, or even a young superstar in the making who you can get on the cheap and then use wanyama to tutor him if you manage to keep him. but just stick to you guns with the asking price, how long is left on his contract because that could cause you problems ?

He currently has 3.5 years left. So I can hold on to him if necessary. I will look at simelar players and will let him go for 40 but no less.
My current 11 is
stegen
Clyne Balanta Umtiti Shaw
wanyama Lucas romero
oxlade chamberlain Kovacic vitinho
mitrovic

Nice team. Where's Ward Prowse? Bryan Cristante is absolutely insane on my current save. Best DM in the world probably. Don't know what he's like on the recent update though. Garmash, Yacob, Romulo, Sandro are other options.

Ward priest is currently on the bench. I bring him on when the games in the bag, against lower sides and in the league and fa cups.

Good news though, after accepting his request I put him in the under 18 squad for a month, then brought him back to play against Man City, an he has decided to stay!
