Probably Anchor Man if you play a DM formation, or if you are playing him as CM then Defensive Midfielder (D), that seemed to work on my Celtic save and I got to the Last 16 of the CL.

I got him for my West Brom team after he was listed, I play him as a CM but I'm not sure on which role to play him yet, is he any good as a BBM?

Play big Victor as a BWM, or even he works well as a DLP. Don't set him to a defensive role. He plays best when he can pop up and score a few as well as being an animal in the midfield.
