Vidic - Sign of good things to come?

I've started a new season with Manchester United no more than 50 minutes ago, and to my surprise, 2nd only to Hernandez who has scored three hat-tricks already, Vidic has 7 goals in 5 app's. I'm not sure if this is only because of the games being friendlies that he has scored in, however the new formation I'm trying and such could have an impact perhaps?
Wondering if this is somewhat normal due to the games being versus lower skilled teams and friendlies, or a sign of good things?

Well , Hernandez only scored 2 goals in 9 appearences for me so i never play him, as for vidic, maybe its because of freindlys, or maybe ur tactic.

As a matter of fact, I found that he scored most of them when a corner wasn't being taken. I have Ferdinand attacking the far post too.

In my network game im playing im man utd and I have played 2 competitive matches vs chelsea, first 2 matches vidic scored 3 out of 2.

Well, I've played 2 more games and he hasn't scored in either, so perhaps I jumped the gun a little.

Vidic and Ferdinand are top scorer of my Man U only behind Rooney. All of their goals are scored in corners-heading situation as they both have great jumping, heading, positioning and anticipation stats make them superb headers. All you need is a good corner taker ( Yuan Gourcuff for me ) and they will contribute around 20 goals every season solely from corner.

Kind of pointless having defenders as your top scorers, I always use defualt corner tactics to prevent my centre backs scoring 20 odd goals a season.
