Viewing Statistics on players profiles

Why is it so hard to view statistics in this game. Now, they removed them from the profile page and I can't see how many assists a player has, unless I start clicking on view stats and so on. It was so much easier to just click on a player and see how he performed. Is there any way to get it back?
It's also so annoying they don't show which player got assists in matchs unless I search around in the tabs.

In Preferences, change default player profile (or something like that, not in FM atm)..

its either u have to enable the option in the preferences, or maybe it just like that. or u could just scout him and see the stats properly (but it only helps in getting the accurate attribute ratings )
