Petrov is a better player who is proven in champions league, captain of his country has played in European finals, euro champs etc etc

Yeh but has also spent years playing in the SPL so he might be good in Europe but does that really concern Villa fans, who just want their team to try and reach Europe this season.

Gladish hes gone now, he was out best player but at least its over, not a great price for him though, 6.5m rising to 8 but we have got Gravensen now if we signed Scott Brown I would be over the moon with selling Petrov
