Gyan and Welbeck would suggest otherwise. Sunderland are not a 1 man team and, although Bent is a big loss, they will still be up there come the end of the season, especially if they use this money to improve the squad

I think he has S**t on Sunderland...His form for Tottenham was average and Sunderland took a chance on him (10 mil for Sunderland is a big layout). He got back in the England squad and was playing really well...He could of at least waited til the end of the season. whether summat has happened behind closed doors I don't know and are Villa a better team than Sunderland....I don't believe so...STRANGE MOVE..
