Villa Help

So, after playing a season as Milan in which i did the treble, i decided to start a new game with a lesser team and chose Aston Villa (sorry Villa fans) as i have a good deal of liking for them. I managed to sign Sotiris Ninis for £5M, Iker Muniain for £10M and Arda Turan for £14M. My problem is so far Muniain has failed to find the net (however he has set up a few goals) and my team fails to hold onto a lead. i won all pre season games, but have drawn all my prem league games, all after being in the lead. is there anyway i can stop my team from conceding late goals? And has anyone else had this problem?

If I' winning, and near full time I usually put this : Retain possession, work ball into box, pass into feet, exploit through the middle , slow the tempo, waste time and finally setting the tactic to Very Rigid/Contain ..

Thank you, i finally got my 1st league win (3-2 against west ham) i played him as normal but put his long shots to rarely and he played very well rating of 8.0, might have finally cracked him
