Until season 2006/07 he has played 21 games for second team of Metalurg, when he joined Kryvbas on loan and played 9 games. In the next two seasons he became first team regular at Metalurgians, playing 47 games and scoring 4 times.

His natural position is defensive midfielder, with positions "defender (centre)" and "midfielder (centre)" marked as accomplished. But, I think his best playing position is definitely as defender.
Good sides
First of all, this 195 cm guy is absolutely dominant in air. Although his stats are not world-class at the start of the game, they will develop a lot and he will become one of better centre-backs in Europe.
