So as some of you may know the first team i always play is my favorite club vitesse .
I will do a short guide on tactics and the club itself .

League: Eredivisie
Arena/Stadium: GelreDome (25.000 seater) View attachment 460764
Location: Arnhem
Start :
At the start you will notice you will have a completely different team compared to the 2013/2014 season .Alot of players have joined but your 2 key players have left .
Wilfired Bony :View attachment 460747 the ivorian striker who left for about 14 million to swansea

You still have a couple of gems in the first team , including Gael kakuta (on loan from Chelsea) Renato Ibarra and Davy Propper.
Your biggest weakness is your defense , even though you have Guram Kashia , Leerdam and Van Aanholt who are pretty good in the real game you dont really want them as your defence in game .
Your midfield is actually pretty good you have got alot of wingers of whom ibarra and kakuta are exactly the top of the league .And your playmakers propper Vejinovic and Janssen are great as well so no worries there
Your attack is pretty avg with Havenaar ,Reis and Kallon (big prospect) but as you dont get a big kitty to spend on the beginning (more about this later) youll have to make due .
And your goalies are pretty good as well for the Dutch league .Piet Velthuizen (noone even dare say a bad thing about him
) is a great goalie and Jeroen Houwen is a great prospect for the future as well .
Chelsea link :
As all the followers of the Dutch Eredivisie know there is a huge link between Chelsea Fc and Vitesse some even say that Abramovich is secretly pulling the strings of Vitesse and that Vitesse is a Chelsea B or something .
If this is true or not its great for the Fm save of Vitesse because well there are alot of loanies stalled here
Van Aanholt , Kalkuta , Piazon ,Sam Hutchinson , Christian Atsu and Christian Cuevas .
Now all for Kakuta and Van Aanholt they are all bench quality players in my first Year but its great to have them with you for rotation purposes .
Finances :
The finances havent been that great this year .Were last year you could get about 15 mill to spend on players and about 450k(?) to spend in wages this is alot less now View attachment 460732 This is prolly because of the fair play thingy .You wont get any money from your chairman either wich is 2 bad (last year about 20 million per half year if you were in the red)
Goals :
My first season i went for top half finish .The money difference wasnt that huge it was worth the risk and for the transfer money that was available i didnt really find anyone who could make a huge difference in the squad .
The Transfers :
As i said you lost 2 big players for your team and you dont have alot of money to replace them so i didnt , i worked on my defence and i said this before as well in my opinion this was the weakest link.

So i got 2 players with alot of experience and decent stats to fill in the wholes .Mensah was a bit of a let off he didnt agree with my half time speeches and got injured alot (as expected by my backroom staff
) vilchez was really good LB and wasnt bad as a CD either . But as you can see didnt spend alot of money on the transfers .
The backroom :
This is something that you should improve immediatly ,it isnt great you have only 2 scouts and not enough trainers so you should focus on this b4 you start signing players .
The tactics :
I always believe in build up play and wingers and this is the perfect team for that .

The results :
Well the results were beyond my wildest dreams , when i started with the job and looking over the my own and other squads i expected to finish with alot of luck 3rd or 4th ,but something incredible happened and the name was MIKE HAVENAAR god among men (well not really but you get what i mean
)

And mainly because of him the results were amazing :

So i won the League (really close up to the last day and with alot of luck and late goals from Havenaar) and went on to the semi finals of the uefa cup (grp stage is a thumb ,) while winning from lazio ,hibernian and PAOK (lucky draws i know) and losing from Arsenal with 2-0(A) and losing 2-3(H)
Conclusion :
If you want a save with a decent squad in a decent competition without lots of money and a challenge then Vitesse is a really nice save .
