Wage crisis!

Ok so I took control of Windsor and Eton (my home town team!) and have just got them promoted to the Blue Square South then I signed up about 4 players to help the team in thier new league, and also let my staff's contracts expire, as I figured I could attract more skilled members now the club had a better reputation.

I am £33 under my weekly wage budget now, but I have no coaches or assistant manager! and eveytime I try to sign one, it says accepted, and then cancelled, but with no reason given

I'm assuming it's because I dont have enough funds to pay thier wages, but my 1st team only has 18 players, my reserves have all been sold/offloaded to save money and my under-18's all get pittance

Is there any way to raise enough funds to hire some staff without selling my players as I'm really happy with how the team's set up!

Any ideas???

have you made a board request for more money for wages? They always seem to say no to me but you never know. but it looks like you may have to sell some of your players

yeah they're such a tiny club that they never approve any requests plus they have provided a few cash injections so they always say no to me asking for more money argh i dont wanna sell players!!!

unfortunately it seems that is what you're going to have to do. Should have kept a better eye on your wage bill to cut it down a bit you could offer players new contracts with slightly less wages, players sometimes do that. Also if you are really desperate to not sell players you could load your game back to before the transfer window started

Yeah i thought i was keeping it in check but it threw me when my player's wages got increased due to promotion :S looks like someone's gonna have to go!
