2 - Who are you managing and in what league?

I am currently managing Wales starting in the 2016 euro campaign, however this is just to test out the tactic. I will then be re-applying it to my premier league create-a-team.

3 - Where are you predicted to finish and how are you doing currently?

Wales are currently rank 12 in the overall rankings, and therefore expected to qualify for knockout stages. However my create a team has won the previous season premier league title, and are expected to finish in the top 10 again (it was a bit of a lucky break to win the league).

4 - Your vision/tactical plan

The most important point of this tactic is to concede the least amount of goals possible and display a more consistant result regardless of the opponent. The main focus behind this tactic is to play similar to the Wales squad of the euro's 2016 tournament (except not to be knocked out). Ideally this means playing very defensively but great on the counter, with your mid field finding open channel's to recieve the ball in an open space. Either scoring directly or relaying the ball on to another player once in the final third. This can occur either through long balls or passing into a space.

Defensively i want a solid back line with a good defensive midfielder to help hold the opponent up and challenge for possession, with the defenders preventing entry into the box, with one defender looking for a sneaky through ball.

5 - What issues are you having, exactly?

My main issue is whilst defensively my team seem to cope quite well, my players are not appearing to move the ball as wanted, when on the break they can hold the ball up instead of moving it, and being over run by the defence. Or failing to move into channels / find the space to run into.

It might be because the tactic is new and not known all that well, or it could be a result of the players being unskilled to perform the tactic.

However my main issue is actually scoring goals or creating the chances.

6 - Saved Tactic File.

For anyone wishing to test this tactic and give feedback, i have included a download link below.
