I have played nearly 3 seasons, and lot of hard word and constantly asking the board for more staff, wages, transfer money.

Season 2.
start of the season played several friendlys

Cardiff City @home
lost all, but got about 100k balance from gate receipts
board finally gave me a wage structure/transfer budget.
about 1.5k wages and £35k transfer budget. I was not going to buy player from the budget, just free transfers. For this season.
so I altered the wages to 2.25k pw. Transfer budget £0
got my scouts working their socks off to find some players for me. The team from the tier 9 was ok, but I wanted better players.
Won the league by 9 pts.
After some good games and cup matches, I ended the season on about 120k balance.

Fa cup was massive money for me. Finally got knock put by Manchester city in round 4
Qualified for round one of the fa cup.
1st round drew with Portsmouth @ portsmouth
replay won 2-0 (Portsmouth was relegated 2 season on the run.)
2nd round was Oxford united another 2nd division side. Won them @ Oxford 4-5 after extra time
3rd was Cardiff city @ Cardiff city drew 1-1
replay was lucky they had a man sent of in the 10min. Eventually won 2-1
4th was against Man City @ Man city. Man City got a full crowd capacity
gotmbeat 5-0, but I did not care. After an excellent fa cup campaign I had a balance of £1.2m
Story to continue.
