Want to build a good squad but dont no who to be and who have money to spend

Vitesse from the dutch league are a good challenge they have a suger daddy chairman and a lot more fun than using man city or psg

Vitesse bud, great fun making your name. You dont have any good player ( bar Wilfried) and league reputation isn't that great.

I have just started a new game with Vitesse ill see how it goes cheers

A challenge with a club with money? Oxymoron

Leicester City (dunno bout new patch)

Edit/create a club with money?

Do not give yourself money, through the editor.
a) you will get bored quickly
b) where is the challenge

I play a tier 9 league team. Runcorn Linnets.
no money,
no wages
poor squad
little training facilities
very poor youngster team
crowds lucky to get 200 per home game
no players want to come to my team
X1 coach
x1 scout
X1 physio
x1 assistant manager

But I am addicted to the game - I enjoy searching for players/decent staff. Asking the board to increase staff.

I have play 1/2 of the season
after pestering the board, I have x5 scouts, x3 Coaches, x1 fitness coach, x1 youth coach and x1 1st team coach.
top of the league by 15 pts. And money to spend. Not much, but it's a start

Great story bro!

I remember being approached by tycoon taken over Inter when i was currently manager of PSV and thought wow loads of money but it was so easy i was bored in one season and despite all the riches i left to find a challenge. That challenge was Hearts lol

I have played nearly 3 seasons, and lot of hard word and constantly asking the board for more staff, wages, transfer money.
this the run down of my history with Runcorn linnets

From last update.
Season 1. won the tier 9 league by 23 pts
X3 coaches
X1 fitness coach
X1 1st team coach
X1youth coach
X5 scouts
15 players 1st team
25 players reserve
20 youth team players
About 19k balance
no wages
no transfer funds

Season 2.

start of the season played several friendlys
Aston Villa @ home
Reading @ home
Blackpool @ home
Cardiff City @home
lost all, but got about 100k balance from gate receipts

board finally gave me a wage structure/transfer budget.
about 1.5k wages and £35k transfer budget. I was not going to buy player from the budget, just free transfers. For this season.
so I altered the wages to 2.25k pw. Transfer budget £0
got my scouts working their socks off to find some players for me. The team from the tier 9 was ok, but I wanted better players.
Won the league by 9 pts.

After some good games and cup matches, I ended the season on about 120k balance.

staff update
me - manager
assistant manager
youth coach
1st team coach
fitness coach
x7 coaches
X8 scouts

Season 3.

Brought through some decent players from the youth squad last season.
few key players.
start of season, played some more championship league team @ my ground. Only a capacity of 1600. Filled the stadium.

got revenue of about 100k from gate receipts. Balance around 220k

Played 24 game, round 5 Regional Cup

Fa cup was massive money for me. Finally got knock put by Manchester city in round 4

Qualified for round one of the fa cup.
1st round drew with Portsmouth @ portsmouth
replay won 2-0 (Portsmouth was relegated 2 season on the run.)
2nd round was Oxford united another 2nd division side. Won them @ Oxford 4-5 after extra time
3rd was Cardiff city @ Cardiff city drew 1-1
replay was lucky they had a man sent of in the 10min. Eventually won 2-1
4th was against Man City @ Man city. Man City got a full crowd capacity
gotmbeat 5-0, but I did not care. After an excellent fa cup campaign I had a balance of £1.2m

Story to continue.

i think there is a special section where people can read your stories. also, people that start so down low have to have some serious time on their hands or they're going to get nowhere. everyone plays a save that they enjoy playing :) some people just start with Barca :D

Play the game from the bottom and work your way up. By doing this you will get the most satisfaction from the game and is the best way to test your skills. :) Make a legacy from nothing will give the most satisfaction and personal achievement :D

"Can someone please recommend me X type of club?"

"No, don't do that I think its boring and it sucks, and besides look how awesome I am with my little club"

i think monaco in the frence first division have quite a bit of cash too
