Watford 4th season. Need tactical help climbing to top 5.

Hello everyone!

Normally i dont play a save this long, but i really like my watford save. Im in 4th season and am a contender for euro league each season, but i want to grow. My team is doing fine against big clubs (mostly draws sometimes small lose/win) but very inconsistent against smaller teams (5-4 win southampton, 2-2 wolves etc.). I can't seem to have a tactic which is consistent and is good for me. Most of the problems come that i always concede goals from crosses, i have tried almost everything.

My achievements so far have been:
Watford:
- 1st season: 9th place BPL
- 2nd season: 3th place BPL
- 3rd season: 6th place BPL, semi final Euro cup
- 4rd season: currently 8th in november.
I hope to find a new tactic, tactical advise or even transfer advise.

(Yes i have got too many players because some were transfer listed at the end and couldn't let them be (like a free cazorla..)

In my opinion my midfield is superb with many qualities and playmakers, they lack some physical and tackling abilities though. My defence is good with vestergaard and sule as very strong cb's. My attack is decent with great talent Ponce and Zivkovic and Ribeiro/Ziyech.

Currently i am playing this tactic, it's a bit of a panic tactic because my 4-3-3 with AM didn't work..

Have you got any tips of any kind? I can't seem to get my defense right and creating to less CCC...

I see the image of my current players is not working.. you can also find them in the tactic. The tactic does not show my starting eleven..
 
Can you post the roles / duties in English?
 
It's a 4-3-3. You have 3 players who won't be defending much, especially with an attacking mentality.

"Goals from crosses" also means very, very little. Who's crossing? From where? Why are they getting space? Why are you letting them get space? etc.

I'm also very interested in why you have "Take A Breather" selected.
 
Hey,

normally i dont select take a breather, just wanted to see what it would do but i already unchecked it.

Crosses comes from their wingers, not their backs (they are being tracked down). Their wingers just run past my backs with the ball and do a low cross which is scored... They just run past my players, so frustrating...

They're probably attempting to get stuck in - as you've instructed - but the wingers are skipping past the tackles?
