Ok firstly yes i cheated, ive recently started with chelsea and created many managers moving players to my team for free.

i picked Rooney because he is clearly a top top player in real life but playing him on football manager he just seem to be a waste of time he rarely scores and barely gets a 7 rating (i see this as minimum to stay in my team), am i expecting to much or is he simply not good on the game?
 
He is one of the best strikers on the game, how are you playing him, and who do you have upfront with him, and how are you playing them.?

What tactic are you using.?
Is he happy.?

Could be anything to do with any one them.
 
he changes between complete striker and deep laying striker, i switch the strikers about because i have so many, he normally upfront with bojan/drogba/aguero and my tactic is 4-4-2 with the wingers pushed up a little bit his mood is superb.

i havnt set any "target man" markers on him or anything he just doesnt seem to be getting involved in the goal scoring i mean john terry and rio have scored more than him?

got anything i should try?
